Romantic Spring Wedding at SoLu Estate Winery and The Berkshire | Sheboygan WI
Mr. + Mrs. Karnitz
est. May 26, 2018
The first wedding of the year is always a little different than the rest. It initiates the beginning of wedding season and ultimately is my debut into 2018. Feeling fresh and excited-- I started my year with Jolene and Kyle over Memorial Day weekend. A holiday that brings families together, gets people outside, and marks the start of summer. Mix in a wedding over one of the best long weekends of the year and it can't get much better.
When I first met Jolene + Kyle I knew we'd all get along. From a mutual love for the outdoors, each having a new dogs, horses, and actually a co-worker of my mom (Later to find out Jo found me and reached out BEFORE she knew I was Julie's daughter). They jumped out board from day 1 and its been a ton of fun getting to know each other over the last year.
Married at Solu Estate Winery on a hot day in May, Jolene + Kyle exchanged vows in front of their family and friends. After the ceremony, hugs, and family photos, we wandered the vineyard for photos. Solu surprised the bridal party with black lab puppies!!! Only fitting as Kyle + Jo have a black lab of their own -- Odin.
We all hoped on to a school bus, driven by Jolene's old bus driver and headed to a Cascade dive bar. Eventually we made it back to the Karnitz house for photos, refreshments, and to be honest, air conditioning.
After wandering their property for the most magical dreamy pockets of light, we made way to The Berkshire for the reception.
This venue is beautiful you guys!! The white brick and black industrial accents are to die for!! Mix in round string lights and huge warehouse windows you get such a cool atmosphere when the sun starts going down. We enjoyed dinner and speeches in the golden hour glow before the lights turn low for dances.
